It's an award to be proud of! Every year we honor the hottest new photographic products in today's professional market with the Professional Photographer Hot One Awards. This competition recognizes products that possess exceptional quality, innovation, design and performance as judged by a distinguished panel of industry experts.

Your Exposure: Winners of the coveted Professional Photographer Hot One Awards receive enviable print and online publicity. In our annual Hot One special issue (March 2012), we feature each winning product with a full description, color photography, MSRP and the manufacturer's website URL. For increased exposure, the showcase is posted on PPmag.com for one year—a handy "shopping guide" for our readers that will drive increased sales for you. Award categories include: Albums and Framing, Cameras, Digital Printers, Digital Storage Media, Educational Resources, Film Lenses, Lighting Equipment, Papers, Scanners, Software and Studio and Location Equipment.

Cover Photo Contest

Our annual Cover Photo Contest brings in thousands of entries (more than 6,600 individuals in 2011) and boosts Web traffic. In fact, in 2011 traffic on PPmag.com increased almost 50 percent during the entry months thanks to the "Viewer's Choice" voting capability, which brought in more than 37,000 voters!

Your Exposure: Sponsors of the cover contest are featured on full-page promotional house ads in three issues of the magazine. Sponsor logos appear on every page of the contest section on PPmag.com and in every promotional e-mail (minimum of three). Promotional banners carrying sponsor logos are placed on sister site PPA.com. Winners of the contest are awarded prizes provided by sponsors and featured prominently in both the magazine and the website.
